Nothing is so disturbing as listening to a teacher petulantly complain because we do not have his perferred flavour of Gatorade. I do not even know what flavour a riptide rush -is-, but we did not have it.
In hindsight, perhaps it is more disturbing to hear him be scolded and told to drink whatever flavour we have by three seperate people in less than a minute.

Date: 2005-02-09 09:41 am (UTC)Actually? Not sure. I tend to chug down the stuff without worrying about flavor. Comes from a few years of a Red Bull habit.

Date: 2005-02-09 09:49 am (UTC)Though, that does not explain Doug's reaction to it, but I suppose that is some kind of hacker thing. He says it is anyway. Or else that he just does not drink coffee or soda often. I am not sure.
Ah, good.
Date: 2005-02-09 09:51 am (UTC)I usually liked mine mixed with vodka, but that's a Club thing.
And yeah, it's best shotgunned.

Date: 2005-02-09 09:53 am (UTC).. I know from expierence. If Red Bull tastes of Melted Death, then Red Bull and Vodka is Melted Siberian Death, I suppose.

Date: 2005-02-09 09:55 am (UTC)That's what I used it for, anyway.
Since then I've discovered new ways to get the same energy. Empathy
iswas good for that sort of thing.Manuel

Date: 2005-02-09 09:55 am (UTC)There is -decent- tea in the kitchen in a box marked "Rice Flakes" - it has less caffiene than coffee, and lasts longer.

It is very different, true.
Date: 2005-02-09 09:58 am (UTC)I'm not sure I understand your analogy, but that's OK. The point is that the two are very different.

Date: 2005-02-09 09:59 am (UTC)Which reminds me. We need to take a day and go on a vital fact-finding mission, Manuel.

Date: 2005-02-09 10:07 am (UTC)Mini-Faxman however was, I believe, due to my initial introduction to someone (whose name I shall not mention, but begins with J, ends with x, and has amie Madro in the middle)'s idea of rich fudge. Chocolate has caffiene, you know.

Date: 2005-02-09 10:28 am (UTC)Besides, it's the peanut butter that's the real secret to that fudge. And also, there's someone living in this house whose name sounds like a cookie, who introduced me to more different brands of chocolate chips than I knew existed. Blame her. :)

Date: 2005-02-09 10:31 am (UTC)Is this why I caught Doug with that bag of white chocolate raspberry chocolate chips and a very guilty expression?
Have you ever...
Date: 2005-02-09 10:33 am (UTC)Fact-finding mission? OH! RIGHT! THAT!
Yes, absolutely. This weekend's kind of ugly for me, but maybe early next week?
