Stupid DNA! What did we ever do to you to get you so mad at us?
In truth, I just do not understand what causes X-gene mutations. It is a mutation, so it is not from our parents, yes?
Is it pollution, or something in the food we eat? Maybe vegetarians have less of a chance of mutant children. Or vegans, or people who don't eat dairy foods.
I think too much, I think. I come up with foolish questions after a night of bad sleep.
I don't sleep enough, and I do not have a good reason to not be sleeping. I am not Jamie or Paige or Jono, with heavy things to think about. I just have strange dreams that wake me up in the middle of the night.
Dreams where I am watching but not participating in an activity are strange. I was watching a crowd dance to loud music at a club not far from home. To be honest, I would swear it was VNV Nation, but I can't really remember. I do not know enough of those bands' names. It reminded me a little of the dance scene in Matrix:Reloaded, but I cannot put my finger on why. It was odd, Ms. Frost was there, but not dancing. She was watching the DJ, very intently. I can see why, he was very handsome. Then the dance floor went away, and it was just Ms. Frost and the young man, yelling something in Spanish at a very large man with really strange looking sideburns.
