Doug and Jamie and I went to the Magic The Gathering tournament today to get the new cards.

Is anyone -else- a little bit bothered by this card?

I think it is a random coicidence. Espically since the cards do not represent anyone real.

Um. Usually, they do not. One card per set has a picture of the winner from the previous year's tournaments.

Weeelll, Miles has been babbling about WOTC to me a lot while we watch cartoons in the morning. And he did kinda show me how to play. But I haven't got my own cards...yet.

Oh lord. Jubilee, Miles still tries to argue that skeletons should get to leave the graveyard whenever they want because they're skeletons.

When Doug wakes up, I'll have him see if we can put together a good simple deck for you to learn from that does not follow eight year old logic, if you want.

Which is probably why he still argues, because we tend to use the Madrox/Blaire Variation rules when we play . . .

That explains why he thinks you cannot have Holy Strength and Unholy Strength on the same card too.

Are you the one who taught Miles that you use cookies as life counters and you get to eat the life counters of your opponent? Because I could get into that rules variant.

I had wondered about the skeleton thing but Miles was being cute, so I didn't have the heart to ask.

Simple deck would be good. I'll probably be in the music room later on, if Doug wants to find me.

Gotta keep practicing this violin. I even managed to get an actual proper note yesterday.

Now if I can just get a couple more, I'll be on my way to being able to not give people a raging headache when I play.

Unfortunately, it always seems like the angels that are put on Magic cards are female. How very sexist of them. There have been quite a few angel cards that I can remember. Serra Angel was the first one. But...*checks* Yep. All female. Silly Wizards.
