Forgive me if I am skeptical, but I seem to recall a former staff member barging into Douglas's room once and attacking him. I recall a classmate of mine attacking me not long after, simply to get information from me. I trust the staff - I do not trust some of my classmates not to barge in here and do something rash.

To answer your point, even if you avoided mine, Charles will be watching. I have a strong suspicion that if anyone is stupid enough to take it into their head to do anything dumb - and I'm not sure why you think someone is liable to assault Amanda, Angie - they will abruptly remember that they have business elsewhere.

I suspect it because it has happened before. Jubilee. The threats against Thomas in the infirmary. Manuel's attack on me two years ago. Haroun and Sarah's spat over the lake. Joshua and Kyle's fight. We have far too many rash people here for me not to assume someone will do something stupid.

I understand the Professor may be watching - but he is also very busy, and we have been told many times that he does not pry into our heads.
