In case anyone is not reading Amanda's journal, I am quite serious. There will be no assaults, verbal or physical. Making this situation any worse than it already is? This is not an option.
Edit: Disregard this. I was rash and over-protective and acting without thinking.
I will be in Doug's room if anyone needs me. I am too close to this situation to respond without emotion.

Date: 2005-10-13 08:19 am (UTC)I appriciate that you assume the worse of me and that despite my repeated demonstrations in the past otherwise, that I am still an irresponsible teenager who hates all of her teachers simply because they are authority figures.

Date: 2005-10-13 08:21 am (UTC)The staff can be trusted to step in if anyone attempts to behave inappropriately towards Amanda. You don't need to put yourself in that role, because it's already filled.
Better?

Date: 2005-10-13 08:28 am (UTC)Forgive me if I am skeptical, but I seem to recall a former staff member barging into Douglas's room once and attacking him. I recall a classmate of mine attacking me not long after, simply to get information from me. I trust the staff - I do not trust some of my classmates not to barge in here and do something rash.

Date: 2005-10-13 08:32 am (UTC)I wrote your initial reaction off to overprotectiveness. I'm beginning to think I shouldn't have.
To answer your point, even if you avoided mine, Charles will be watching. I have a strong suspicion that if anyone is stupid enough to take it into their head to do anything dumb - and I'm not sure why you think someone is liable to assault Amanda, Angie - they will abruptly remember that they have business elsewhere.
And you should have known that would be the case, without having to be told.

Date: 2005-10-13 08:42 am (UTC)None. Absolutely none. This situation, where we are all fully aware of what's happened and the possibilities for problems, is entirely different. We know to watch.
I understand you've had a difficult couple of days yourself, Marie-Ange, but you are crossing a line here, and I suggest you step back. Right now.

I'm going to class. I'm too upset right now.
