Ah, I am reminded - I should say he is angry at M. Pallot for getting caught, not for the forgeries themselves. :)

Well, given that caveat, I know who it was. :)

I should say he was angry about the forgeries as well for using such an easily-detected method of aging the materials, and at the other expert for licking a possibly antique chair but I think a few minutes in he was just angry about everything to do with this situation.

Goodness he rather hates M. Hooreman though and I cannot blame him.
