An update regarding Topaz.

I have done as many readings as I can without putting myself into a physically damaged state. I do not have the words to do the math, but the result is that we know Topaz has a future. There was a very big number calculated, please ask Doug for details if you are one of our science and/or math oriented people.

We are now working to find out details of how to bring her home. I do not know any other information other than this at the moment.



I am also anticipating potential questions about why I could not do this for Garrison. I did, it was a very different result. I am sorry I cannot do more.

That possibly came off dismissive and I apologize. The math sounds interesting, but there comes a point in esoteric math and science where my inability to grasp the understanding is tiring instead of inspiring.

For those wondering about bringing Topaz home, the magic crew and I are working on something to help. We will need help from the various people close to her - or who just want to help - and we'll be setting up shop in the boathouse/art studio.

But for tonight, since she vanished before she got a chance to celebrate Diwali, there's a group of us releasing twelve floating lanterns. It's usually 13, but when someone can't be there, you hold one back and Darcy's already taken care of that. Diwali is about celebrating new beginnings, homecoming and the triumph of light over darkness. I think it's a good omen that we celebrate it in Topaz' name before we work on getting her home.
