I have convinced my parents to give me my birthday presents early, and so they have given me extra money to buy new clothes. Because -none- of my pants fit.

Well, one pair fits, but I cannot walk around in those with my parents here!

Would anyone like to go shopping?

I got away from the formal-dress shopping with something that... would almost be warm enough for outdoors in Asgard. ;) Well, sometimes.

So long as you understand we are not going into any stores that sell anything scary. I am buying pants, in nice boring colors like beige and khaki and dark brown and grey because none of mine fit anymore, because I seem to have developed leg muscle.

Yup, those are the ones. They're always fun, although they never seem
to work for me. It's fun watching other people play with them though.

now you know why I wear a LOT of skirts ;) leg muscle is the bane of pants. feel free to borrow some of mine if you want though (I even have non-holey basic jeans!).

My skirts all still fit, and I am fine for going to class, but this new leg muscle thing is annoying.

fencing will give you massively obnoxious leg muscles, I never wore skirts until I started. and most of a woman's strength is in her legs (childbirth and all that) so having lots of leg strength is good!
