Never have I been -so- glad to be here.

Britney Spears performed in my home city a few weeks ago. Sometimes I think that woman's continuing career is a by-product of some secret mutant power. It must be. There is just no explanation I can fathom for why she is still making records when better artists have practically retired.

Not only does she know of it, she felt the need to comment on it when I spoke to her Sunday.

It was bad enough when she thought *I* was some kind of prophet reborn. Maybe I should tell her I cannot be Jeanne D'Arc because Jeanne D'Arc died a virgin.

I am still chuckling over your mother's antics. Mine never did any such thing to me that I can recall.
